One of my friends recommended Gerry at Tyreland Grand Canal so I called in as I needed a new tyre in a hurry.
He was so kind to me ( i have a new little boy to add to the equation ) and was very professional. He had it all sorted in a Matter of minutes even though he was very busy with other clients, I didn’t feel like an inconvenience compared to other places. 21 Inch Tyre Size Explained
Once you’ve decided on your tyres you can book an appointment to get them fitted at a time that suits you
Tyre sizes are typically marked in three sets of numbers connected. Let’s take a simplified 21 inch tyre size as an example: 295 35 21.
295 expresses the width of the tyre. It is measured in millimetres (mm). Tyre width is an important measure as it can change how well the tyre grips or how economical the tyre is.
35 describes your sidewall height. This figure is a percentage of the width of the tyres. In this case, the sidewall is 65% of 295mm.
21 – Is the diameter, which is measured in inches. It tells what size rim this tyre is suitable for.
